Lucia’s Story

I never thought of leaving Spain before, but after I finished my studies I didn’t know what to do, how to face the real world. Finding a qualified job in Spain it’s hard mostly because everyone now has studies and is highly trained and even though if you get the job you wanted it will possibly last for the next 6 months.
I struggle for months when a friend send me a job offer for being a career in Plymouth with very much low expectations and in 2 days they gave me the job.
Adapted to a new culture wasn’t easy but after a three years I found how enriched is to get out of your comfort zone and try thing,I feel capable of everything and I know nothing can stop me.

Now I live in Bristol and help women through domestic violence, sometimes I miss Spain but I realised my home is wherever I am.
