Parents came here escaping poverty from their homes of Ukraine and Sicily. Living here for the majority of my life I have learned only of the system of inequality in this country hidden behind a veil of Western values. As much as my life has been missing true poverty living here, I have also missed out on a true sense of community. This country is nothing but individuals working for themselves, no greater goal other than the stock price of the company they work for. After my university education is finished I will leave for my true home. Britain has never been a true home for me.
