Georgia’s Story

My fathers family come from Ireland, my mother from China. My mother moved to the uk in the 60’s age 14 with her family. She became a lawyer working for the disability law service, helping those with disabilities fight for their civil rights. My father also became a lawyer, he wrote a book that helped countries coming out of war learn about international business law. When I was 8 I remember my mother and me not being allowed up to our hotel room to see my father because they didn’t believe they were married and they thought she was a foreign prostitute.
