Lili & Vivi’s Story

When our parents were 14, they had to flee Vietnam due to the ongoing war. Our paternal grandfather was killed in his own house for being anti-Communist, leaving our father and grandmother vulnerable, because of their beliefs. Our mother and father immigrated on the same boat together, and arrived at around 1983.

By finding a new life in England, our mother and father were able to lead a successful business by creating their own Vietnamese restaurant, which is still very popular today.
