Elena’s Story
I moved to London one year ago to have the chance to work in the contemporary art industry, which is highly under estimated in Italy. Also, I came here after the new Italian government was elected, as I don’t share its values and migration policies. What makes me upset and even guilty, it’s how easy it was for me to move here as an Italian citizen. No need of visa or of ways to defend myself from racism. In a fair world this should happen to everyone, but in this one it happened just because I am a privileged born in the right part of the world. Please, let’s change this.
