This is mine and my family’s story.

My dad came here to look for a better life for me and my little brother. Life in Portugal started to become taught and he decided to look for better options out there. He came here first to London on his own and started to see if the British lifestyle was the right for us. Meanwhile, me, my mum and my brother were still in Portugal trying to live without him right there. It was one of hardest times in my life. I had to look out for my mum and my brother and I was only twelve.

Eight months later, me, my mum and my brother came and it was a strange sensation. I always had the dream life of someone else and I wanted to be in my home.
