I’ve finally made my dream of moving from the US to London happen, I’ve only been here three weeks and each day I feel the pressure increase as each day I get closer to my student visa ending. I have a one year masters course that starts next week and after graduation I will have only six months to find a job so that I can stay in the country I want to call my forever home. With Boris’ recent change to allow students to stay for two years after graduating, I’m hoping that perhaps my graduating class will fall under this new law. Chances are slim but I remain hopeful. Moving here was one big and expensive gamble. I hope it pays off.
