Sophie’s Story

My parents of Polish decent left Poland at the end of world war 2 escaping from the life of murder by the German and Russian troops. My father was an officer in the Polish army and mum was in the underground army. They appreciated there lives here until passing away in Cheshire in there 80’s.

I had a tough upbringing and was told this is a Polish house so you will speak Polish. To this day at 59 years I understand it and speak fluently.

Many thanks
