Raman’s Story

I came, age 2, to London from India with my mother, age 20, on an ocean liner, via Aden, in 1952. My father was already here, invited to a job with the UK Atomic Energy Authority, I believe. My 2 brothers were born here. My parents were honest, hardworking people, as I could say are we. We do our best to be good human beings and community members. We have had hard times and joyous times. Politicians can with a few words unite us all or divide us all. Right now we badly need ones who will unite and liberate us from injustice and the rapacious greed of corporations and corrupt politicians who are leading our species and many others to our ends. Let us wake up and heal this beautiful world we have allowed to be wounded and broken.
