I moved in London nine months ago from Italy, my land that I love and miss more than anything.

But sometimes, unfortunately, even if you love something that much it doesn’t mean that it is the best for you.

In my country there are not lots of opportunities for young people, you can’t find a job that easily as here in the big city, so yeah, I came here with my best friend Andrea and we start this new adventure together. New places, new people, new house, new and first job, new everything. It was hard at the beginning, I felt a little out of place even if there are so many different cultures here, but let’s be honest, it is not easy to live in a new country when you are 20 years old, above all when things like brexit come out. Not always people have been nice to me, but I also found lovely people that helped me in this journey and I’ll always be thankful for that.

So yeah, thank you London, you helped me in so many different ways, you gave me a spot in the world when I didn’t think I could have one.
I wish everyone could be that lucky in this mad world.

And to you, if you are reading, thank you for spending time on my story.
